Behind The Passion

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Ms. Diamond Cash has always been committed to serving her community since her childhood years. She took upon an interest in studying Political Science and Criminal Justice at Marygrove College in Detroit where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree. Ms. Cash further advanced her studies by attending Clark Atlanta University to pursue an interest in Social Work. During her matriculation, she became involved with advocacy towards homeless initiatives, teen parenting, and parenting awareness, child sex trafficking awareness, and trauma informed care. Diamond is committed to serving her community and inspiring others to positive actions. Currently, she serves as a Social Worker in the Metropolitan Atlanta region. Ms. Cash is a member of the National Association for Social Workers and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. She also serves as the Organizer for the Atlanta region of Brown Skin Brunchin, a brunch collective for women networking and empowerment. Last but not least, Diamond is a published author of “Overcoming: Affirmations for Your Success”, a self help book dedicated to help others persevere trials and tribulations while embarking change.
